Try to boot in safe mode and uninstall unwanted software if it works then fine otherwise just reformat the system.

Ati2dvag infinite loop how do I fix this

This seems to be a problem with the video card driver as ati2dvag is a part of it. What you could do is go into safe mode. Insert the drivers disc for your video. Reinstall the driver for your video card.

To go to safe mode just restart the computer and continuously pres f8 until you see the advanced options menu then press the arrow keys to highlight safe mode. Then press enter.

My lap top keeps restarting in a continuious loop. How do I fix it?

tap on the F8 key to get into the Safe mode Menu

there should be an option for "disable automatic restart..." Select this option and start the system.

Rather than restarting in an infinite loop, you may get a blue screen with a stop error code. This code may give you a better idea of what is going on.

Have dell xps 600 when playing game screen goes black, when l restart my computer this message:problem file nv4_disp the device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. Can this be fixed?

The problem is probably to do with your video card especially as it only happens when you are playing a game.

It may be to do with a corrupt driver or a actual hardware problem with your video card. I found a news group article here that talks about similar problems and several solutions that worked for them. Apparently there is more than one thing that can cause this error.

I did a google search on this "nv4_disp the device driver got stuck in an infinite loop" with out the quotes and found heaps of information. Looks like you might need to read up a bit.

One other thing you might want to check. It may be heat related. Make sure all your case fans are working. There may also be a fan directly on the video board.

Hope this helps
