Question about Fisher and Paykel DEGX1 Electric Dryer
Simple solution for mine was to put a rubber door wedge under the door sitting along the control panel ledge. This allowed the door to activate the sensor. Easy solution. Hope it works for you.

In all likely-hood a sensor or the like has failed, or even perhaps the micro... Check ALL the sensors, Try a reset if able to do so. Give the Bowl a good shove side to side, & around, to perhaps help any sensor problems. generally though they are pigs of things. If you must go to a repair place ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding.
