This is an espresso machine - it uses BEANS - not grounds. I know the solution to get stronger espresso is to adjust some of the settings but I don't know which ones? Can someone help?

How to make stronger coffee

West Bend recommends 2 cups of (medium coarse) ground coffee for 36 cups of coffee. It also states that theses measurements are for mild coffee. Add another 1/4 - 1/2 cup for stronger coffee. Keep adding more until it meets your liking. Here's the link to the manual for model #58036. http://www.manualslib.com/manual/337763/West-Bend-58030.html#manual

I can't seem to get a good strong cup of coffee.

Is the green "ready" light on?
You can get a stronger blend K-cup coffee.

3 key components for a great cup of coffee: Water temp., amount of coffee and the quality of the water.

The darker the stronger, but less caffeine, The lighter the blend the more caffeine.

I want to make stronger coffee

There are a few ways to do this. One would be to add more of the coffee grinds into the tray. Double your amount, you have double the potency. You can also try the energy blend coffee grinds that they sell at your local stores. That gives it an extra kick as well. Also, Brazillian brands and Columbian brand grinds seem to have a little more potency than the rest.

Hope this helps.

Trying to download the manual for titanium espresso coffee machine. need to know how to make the coffee stronger and not so watered down.

try this link, the manual is in Italian and english : http://www.gaggia.it/dam/bo/allegati/files/50_evolution_4302012000_rev05_istr.pdf
watery espresso could be caused by the grind being off or not dosing enough.

I Have a new Bunn CW15-APS and am trying to make it produce stronger coffee. How do you adjust coffee strength since this system is so automatic?

To get stronger coffee, I would advice adding more coffee to the brew basket or using a slightly finer grind.

Miele cva615 how to make coffee stronger less water

open the door and adjust slide for more grounds, also program prebrewing so it adds a little water to the ground to get them going before the rest of the water is pushed though.

Coffee watery

Setting your dose at max and grinder at finest is not good. This means that you are asking the machine to grind coffee really fine, and then dose maximun amount which can lead to the grinder getting clogged. If you are looking for stronger coffee, it is best to have several shots that one that has too much coffe and too fine. For stronger espresso, use less water instead of more coffee. Two shots of 2 oz. espresso (made with 7 grams of coffee) are more flavorful & sweeter than one shot of 4-oz. espresso made with 14 grams of coffee which could clog your grinder and door/channel. At this point, you need to clean the grinder ( inlcuding the door/channel). I suggest you have an Authorized SAECO Service Center check your machine. Contact Saeco USA Inc. to located a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : outlet@saeco-usa.com

No coffee will dispenses

Hi, We had a similar problem and it turns out the beans we were using were too oily and clogging up the works. We solved it by using a slightly more coarse grind (and brewing a stronger cup), and by buying only the best beans (oily beans don't make coffee stronger, just means they aren't good beans and by roasting longer can make the coffee taste stronger). Try Barefoot Coffee Roasters (I don't work for them, just love their coffee). We also use the cleaning tablet more often than prompted, and clean the inside of the flap when we dump the grinds. Good luck. Great coffee, but finicky machine!
