I can not write and send out e mail it gets frozen. Tell me activate new browser pluse. But it does not function

I couldn't tell you why it works, but I have this problem once & awhile too. I found that 2 different things seem to work. 1. I get completely out of everything & back to desktop & start all over again going on-line through browser, to yahoo, then to my mail, etc. It just seems to glitch sometimes. 2. I have also found that if I clear my browser history (top left corner on Firefox), it seems to help.

Try different browser. Or clear cache or browsing history from the current browser. I hope it will work. Or let us know.

You just need to turn off the Javascript of your browser. Login to your yahoo mail then Follow these steps

1- If your browser is firefox do the following
2- Open TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> CONTENT, click on "DISABLE JAVASCRIPT".
3 - press F5 or reload your browser screen
4 - Follow one step instruction on your screen
5 - After that Enable the Javascript again. By going to Step 2

3- press F5 or reload your browser screen

well first of all you need to check that are you using any phone application to check your email like outlook or blackberry mail if yes then i would like to tell you that this kind of problem comes when the hard disk location of your phone where the email gets store has gone corrupted and you need to create a new profile on your phone so that emails get dropped on the other location of the hard-disk .

if you check the email from internet explore or from any other browser then try to delete the cookies and cache from the browser or try to check your email from any other browser from your phone .

Regrettably, Yahoo! Mail has deteriorated in my personal experience as well, on both Windows XP and Mac OS X operating systems, and in IE and Firefox browsers. The problem is that the new Yahoo! Mail is a fairly complex application with a lot of programming code that must be run by the Web browser (known as DHTML or browser Javascript). This code provides the all the fancy drag & drop functionality, etc. The display advertising within Y! When this happens, the browser is executing both DHTML and Flash programming code, and slowing down further, or introducing more bugs.
You may wish to try gmail (google's email). You will find many Yahoo employees admitting that they prefer Google's gmail for their own personal use.

Dear friend at first you should find the source of problem, your OS? your Browser? or maybe yahoo server!
So to find that, I suggest you at first choose the classic mode of yahoo. As you know, yahoo has 2 modes, classic mode and New mode in beta version, if you selected the new mode I strongly suggest you to change it into Classic mode, because new mode use a technology with the name "AJAX" that has some problem for check mail like these.So first step is to choose classic mode.
If the above way couldn't help you, I suggest you to check your mail by other browsers, maybe your browser doesn't support AJAX or mail service or maybe it has any problem.check yur mail by others like IE, Safari, Firefox, opera etc... . So the second step is check mail by other browsers.
If these two ways couldn't help you, maybe your OS has a wonderful problem! or maybe your connection has a problem, so check your mail for example by other computers (your friend computers for example), if you can't see these problem on these computers so try to check your connection, firewall or OS.
