Hi James, Here is a link to the instructions below to download the Siemens Gigaset Manual for free or for Siemens repair services. However, on the 4000 model you can easily set the time by pushing menu, scroll down to base settings push OK, push OK again for clock, then scroll down to TIME, and push OK and make your changes. Also, you can change the date, as you saw in the menu. If your using a 4200 handset, the menu is slightly different, but similar. And if you get caller id, the phone will automatically read the system date and time from the phone company so you never have to set your time again.
