How do you reset a honeywell th8110u1003 thermostat honeywell 800 # will not tell me but he said it needed to be reset because off ee code on screen

http://www.pexsupply.com/Honeywell-TH8110U1003-VisionPro-Thermostat-1-Heat-1-Cool-3909000-p YOU MAY FIND THE ANSWER HERE BUT IF NOT YOU CAN FIND IT RESET BUTTON IN THE (FURNACE?) UNIT. THE REASON HONEYWELL WILL NOT GIVE THE INFORMATION IS BECAUSE THIS CONDITION USUALLY MEANS THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE SYSTEM AND GAS IS NOTHING TO FOOL AROUND WITH. FYI HAVE YOUR IGNITER CHECKED OUT.

Does blocking thermostat stop heating

you mean like putting a box over the thermostat? the air inside the "stat" will get to a temperature and stop the heating. when the temperature inside drops, the thermostat contacts close again and the heater starts again.
