Tv have a convergence problems,it dead.Tv convergence board is dead.Require changing the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors. To solved the tv convergence problems.Tries Websites like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a convergencce kit.To replaced those convergence parts on the board.
If you follow the instructions on the other thread, you should be able to resolve the problem. Try the simple stuff first. Resolder the pins of the convergence ICs and see if that alone resolves the problem. Sometimes that is all it takes.
This may be a convergence issue but it is difficult to determine with that description. Watch this video and see if it will help you determine if you have a convergence problem or possible something else.
Sounds like your describing convergence ICs. They cost about 10.00 each and you will need to replace both of them. And possibly the resistors that power them total cost under 30 dollars if you do he soldering yourself. Hope this helps.
when you leave your TV (no matter what kind) and you leave it for long periods of time on a static image or something.. the image tends to burn in to the screen... so changing the glass would be a way to fix it.... the problem is that that kind of repairmen is more expensive and difficult than buying a new set...
sounds like the high voltage transformer arc or one of the picture tubes arc causing the convergance ic to go bad you can try to replace the IC heres a site to help: http://home.earthlink.net/~oleg.filippov/ConvergenceFix.htm
