Laptop must be powered OFF...
On the bottom of the laptop, open the hatch for the memory compartment. It is the 4" square hatch with a single screw.
Note the way the current memory is placed. The two memory sockets may be full. Remove one module using both hands to separate the "catches" on the sides of the module.
The module will "pop up". Replace the memory using the reverse by seating the module into the socket, then press down until the module "snaps" in place.
