Question about Whirlpool RS675 Electric Kitchen Range
If you turn on the over to bake or broil, it does not get hot. The digital control says it is preheating and it is not. I never gets hot... I am a do it your self and want to get it fixed... Is it the elements? What can it be? Need to get this range going....
DO you have a meter?? Elements>....Well not really if both the elements are not getting hot it sounds like the relay in the ctrl board or a wiring issue maybe missing a leg of power first off check incoming power at the terminal block if ok 220vac-230vac then remove the back top section set it into bake and with the back end of a screwdriver tap the Black boxes these are the relays on the ctrol board.. (Note: they click when you turn them on) see if the elements come on if not unplug remove the back lower section get your meter and check for 220vac at the bake element. after you do that let me know also post your complete model number off of the unit

Probably a failure to get 240 volts to those elements.
If burners work, then it's probably an oven CONTROL(S)l failure. Test them if you know how. Very difficult to find parts for a stove that old.

Testimonial: "very helpful as all 4 burners work but oven does not get hot enough to bake. As suggested I will search for new oven temp control switch. Thank you "
