Thanks for the information, I've put a load in and it appears to have worked... fingers crossed...I do have an additional question for you, considering we wash , if not every day , every other day,why does the dispenser get black mould growing in it and why is the door seal also got the same mould on. If I wanted to replace the seal around the drum - to the door front, is it easy to do? and can I get it in the UK??? thanks in anticipation

i have a similer problem on a Miele W830, when the wash starts the water from the detergent tray comes straight out the drain pipe behind the door.

ive cleaned the tray, and while the tray is removed i poured water straight into the pipe which leads down from the tray, again, the water came straight out the drain pipe behind the door, the filter is clean, as this is checked every month, as is cleaning the tray......this is the first problem with the machine in 15 years!

Even if the appliance does not appear to have water inside the

drum area, typically 2 quarts of water can still be drained from the

appliance via the Manual Drain. Always have a suitable container

    ready for the water.

    1. Open the Filter Access Door.

    2. Place a suitable container underneath the Drain Tube.

    3. Turn the Filter Cap counterclockwise 2 - 3 times. Do not

    completely remove the filter.

    Service Tip:

In the event the container being used becomes filled, simply tighten

the filter (clockwise) to stop the water flow. And repeat steps 2-3

until no more water drains from the tube.

    Once the water stops flowing…

    5. Continue turning the filter counterclockwise to remove.

    6. Clean out any foreign objects or lint from the filter.

    7. Check that the Drain Pump Impeller (in the back of the

    chamber)

rotates freely by spinning with your hand.

    8. Remove any detergent deposits, excess water etc...

    9. Ensure the filter threads are clean, and place filter into position

    and secure by turning clockwise.

You can replace the Bellows as it is called but to fix it before you replace it clean it with Bleach to kill the mold and then dry it ALSO after any load you do leave the door open a bit this allows the mach to air dry out and prevents the build up of mold ..Good Luck plz rate this post for me

Miele premier novo, the main wash light flashing

Hi
Main wash is a fault indicator. The is a problem within the heater circuit, NTC, element, relay or loose wire. You will have to open front and check.
Remove 3 screw around dispenser and 3 10mm bolt around door. disconnect hose by drain pump and front of machine will open like a door.

Leak from tap at front of machine

the filter may not be sitting right in its slot - an obstacle may be keeping the filter from being seated all the way - once the filter is fully seated, it blocks the water to the front tap

Miele leak when switched on for wash, from filter unit front LHS bottom of machince

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.

The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.

The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.

Use a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.

If the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.

Another place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the water leaks down the center of the transmission.

When the stem & seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110

Miele washer-dryer

you have activated the float switch in the base of the unit due to a water leak. this could be just excess detergent or an actual leak. if you tip the unit forward with some towels in front this will drain out the water. try running again with no detergent. if it doesn't show WPS after a couple of washes then you are ok. then change your detergent.

Miele Premier Novo Washing Machine: Water coming straight out of the machine

The lower left panel is a filter that should be cleaned out regularly - the filter is also connected to the drain pump which rids the washer of the water. When you clean the filter out - make sure you have a bowl or Tupperware handy that holds about 2 quarts - slowly remove the filter and the water will drain into the bowl. Clean out any debris and reassemble. If the filter is not seating properly in its seat - water will leak from the small hose - the filter is what blocks the water from coming out of the hose.

Miele novo w526

Can you hear the drain pump running??....If so the WPS system has been activated and there is water in the base.
If not, please post back if any water is going into the main wash compartment once it's started. No water, then faulty inlet valve.

Flashing rinse light is a drive fault. No motor action. If it's an earlier model it would be the motor brushes. Later model will be the electronic which controls the motor.
