- Gary,
That is interesting! There are several possibilities here. First, the detergent: is it a new brand? Is it old stock? Are you using the recommended amount?
More likely, I think you are not getting enough water into the machine. This could be the result of a stuck or damaged float. To check, let the unit fill with water and begin the cycle. Open the door to stop the cycle. The water level should be about and inch or inch and a half below the rim of the opening. If not, you'll have to find out the cause.
Finally, is the water hot? It should be at least 125 degrees F.

Hello, I had a sewer line back up that overflowed into my sink onto the floor. I have cleaned & dried the area, but my dishwasher is no longer working. I believe it may have been shorted out. Can you advise me on what to do next? Thank you, Tracy

Our LG LD12AW2 has just had water flowing under from under the door and all over the floor. Seemed to not stop filling. Any ideas? This machine has had a history of replaced ciruit board and pressure case assembly. Thanks.
