My scenic getting very bad to start doesnt happen all the time but when it does it just turns over but wont fire up

if it has the 1.9dci engine there is a small low pressure fuel pump below the car tucked in behind the front sub frame. its about the size off a redbull can with a pipe at either side. turn the ignition on and listen for a buzzing noise almost below drivers footwell. if you dont here anything your pump has gone. new pump costs around £100 but if the car is worth fixing it is a good investment.. dont bother with 2nd hand because they give ALOT OF BOTHER.

try and listen where the fizzing sound is coming from. go to the fuse box where the relays are.put your hand on the relays when the key is turned and identify the one making the noise. sounds like the start relay is faulty. needs changing. hope this helps.
