one additional question about programming via scan mode: every-other attempt at steps #4 thru #7 when pressing the "setup" button, the LED blinks twice immediately. However, upon entering 991 there are no blinks after pressing the last number. On the next attempt it blinks when pressed then after a second of holding it down, it blinks twice. Then after entering 991 it does blink twice. Am I still in scan mode or is something wrong with this remote? I've tried this solution for 50 attempts, to no avail.
I greatly appreciate your help. If this is functioning properly, it is just a matter of continuing to scan through; thus, ....problem solved.
