Question about Acer AL1916W 19" LCD Monitor
Monitor came w/o driver and cannot get 1440x900 ; how can I acquire? Appears many have had issue, but I have not found location to resolve...
Appreciate your help/ guidance
Problems like this are usually the fault of the video card and not the monitor. Does your video card support 1440 X 900? Try updating your video card drivers.

Plugged up display via the VGA cable to an HP dv6000 laptop; the Acer powered up and displayed fine ... however, noticed a faint waving motion in the picture, as if the screen was literally gel and began to wave, from top to bottom as it appeared. Best I can describe it ... any suggestions as to why? I only connected it to this HP to try it out, I ordered it from newegg and wanted to make sure pixels werent dead on arival. I will be getting an Aurora 7500 (Alienware): AMD X2 6000, Windows Vista Premium, 2GB RAM, GeForce 512 8800GT, SLI ready motherboard ... I heard good things of Acer and hoped this display would look great with my soon-to-come setup and im sure it will. However, just nervous it will do this on my Aurora. Any help or suggestions would be beyond appreciated!!
