Question about ViewSonic VX924 19" LCD Monitor
I plug my ViewSonic VX924 LCD monitor in and only the LED power button blinks at different intervals, sometimes the light stays on longer than other times and when it stays on longer and shuts off again i can see a little bit of a change on the screen like its trying to do something? no picture is displayed and eventually it blinks at very long intervals or barely at all. anyone have any ideas??
Thanks everyone, it turns out that i left the monitor connected to power for a few hours and now its running like a charm. it hadnt been plugged in for a while and it looks like maybe it just had to warm up

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
