Most of these hitachi's have a lamp door on the back or behind the front panel (most).. pop off the front panel and open the little door, using a philips screwdriver and then you can pull out the lamp. to get a new lamp, check out www.dlplampsource.com for a decent price and 1 year warranty

Yes you can replace Lamp yourself! look on back of TV and write TV model number down. A lamp code can also be found on back of tv or located near Lamp DOOR.Easy replacement!
Whichever lamp is burned out, remove it by taking it out of the back of the headlight assembly and then go to the parts store and buy the appropriate replacement lamp and reinstall. It is a fairly easy job unless there is (sometimes) something blocking the back of the assembly, but this is not too common.
