Fridgidaire FDB1250REC dishwasher comes on, fills some water in bottom then cycle stops but can hear motor turning on and off, water will drain when I try to start cycle again.

This seems to be the "anti flood" device at the base of the washer is triggered due to water at the base of the washer. This safety device consists of a polystireene float and a micro switch that detects water leaks/spills and automatically puts the washer in pump out mode. You need to find the leak (hose or clamp)dry the base and rectifythe leak it before the washer works.

My Kenmore portable dishwasher quit working in the middle of the wash cycle. It has power going in, but no longer runs at all. I need a service manual or a troubleshooting guide. Is there a circuit breaker...

This seems to be that the Anti Flood system has triggered. This device detects water leaks / spills to the bottom of the washer and automatically puts the washer in pump out mode and shuts off the water inlet. The device is made up of a pollystireene float and micro switch that activates once the float detects any leaks / spillage. Dry water and check for leaks and this should solve the problem

Water leaks from under door

When you start the machine, does it keep filling? Can you hear the water still going in when it's leaking?

It may be a couple of things, but would be advised to call a serviceman.

No hot water

Hi Jon, is this a new machine that you have just got? if so it sounds like the hot and cold water pipes are on the wrong way round. If not sounds like a thermostat problem

Dishwasher tippiing out

If it is tripping out a re-settable switch then you have an earth leakage problem.

First thing , have you checked that the plug wiring has not come loose with the machine vibration

There could be a water leak inside the machine allowing dampness to get on a connection or a heater rod which has a slight crack in the outer casing causing it to run to earth when it warms up the water

Neither problem is a DIY job sorry
