Question about Samsung PCL5415RB 54" Rear Projection Television
My Samsung projection TV has started making a high-pitched chirping noise when I plug it in. No television display or audio.
Anyone experience same problem? Have a solution?
The high pitch chirping noise is coming from the power supply. there is a short circuit with the switch mode power supply. check the HOT(horizontal output transistor) first then the power supply for shorts. on the HOT check for short between base to collector, and emitter to collector. base to emitter will show short because it in line with the primary coil of the fly-back transformer.
