The brew unit cannot be removed

I have a Incanto Cappuccino. How can I resolve this problem? After descaling the machine the unit has stopped in the wrong position and the macihe does not turn on.

I had the same problem. I apparently turned it off mid-cycle. The upper-left portion of the brew group stopped higher than it should have. I had to force the brew group out, breaking a small plastic cover in the process. I don't think that part's too important. Then I observed the orientation of the gears and visualized what orientation they needed to be in to re-install the brew group. I pressed all the sensors to trick the machine into thinking the brew group was installed and started the brew process. I released the sensors once the gears were in the necessary orientation. I re-installed the brew group and was back in buisiness.

If you had this problem, just turn the machine off and then on again, the machine will do the selftest and go back to start position. If the machine is dead, then the thermal gone off. Go can reset it by take off the back plane and find the elemet, some models have two thermals, in the centrum off the termal is a reset pin.

Have you had the problem fixed? Is the brew group unit blocked ( is that what you mean by wrong position?)

Sounds like the the shower screen under the red o-ring in the brew group needs to be cleaned, you can remove the screen and clean or you can purchase some espresso machine soap puro caff or puly caff, and run it through the brew group using the preground method the clean out coffee oils.

Hello Saaddition,

I understand that your coffee maker is not producing coffee. However, it is operating normal in all other respects. This is usually a common problem when the machine needs to be descaled. You may also need to clean the brew unit. Here is the link to the manual for you Saeco Incanto Rondo C class coffee machine it give you all of the directions to clean and descale.

One other question did you remove the dregs drawer with the machine off. If you did you will need to do cleaning to reset the machine as removing the dregs drawer with the machine off will not allow it to brew coffee.
