As the other posters mentioned, the problem with draining is most likely caused by a clogged filter. Mine had 14 cents, 2 zip ties, and a bra wire stuck in it. Here is the process (after many hours of swearing and bleeding) so that it should be pretty easy.

The first step is to tilt the washer back so the front is 3-5 inches off the ground. Prop it up with something. To remove the front lower panel, there is 2 phillips screws under the bottom edge. Remove the screws and the panel should drop down off the pegs holding the top edge in.

Inside, attached to the drum you will see a rubber boot with an accordion sleeve which contains the filter. There is 2 green spring hose clamps (the source of many expletives) and a silver phillips screw on hose clamp. To get at the filter, you should not need to, nor do you want to, remove the green spring clamps. You will spend hours trying to get them back on.

I have attached a picture for reference. Unscrew the silver clamp (large one, closest to drum) and pull down the sleeve to get access to the filter. If you are full of water, you can slide a pan inside the machine and just pull down the edge closest to the pan to drain until the water is gone. Reach down into the accordion (gross) and grab the filter. It has a lip on it so you will need to work it out through the accordion thing, but it likely has some really gross stuff in it. Clean it out, wad it back into the boot, and reattach to the drum. Dump about 2 gallons of water into your drum to make sure you are not leaking. Switch the knob to spin cycle and hit start 2 times. It should drain the water out within a couple seconds.

Good luck!

After opening our washer (same model) I found a manual for techs taped inside. it gives instruction on how to get the error code and a chart to go with said code. We found it to be either the hose or the pump. We did the hose first, but that didn't work. we ended up taking of the black rubber part which had a white plastic filter. There was tons of stuff in it- gross. I highly recommend taking off the front and back panel, and using two people. It took me and my husband over an hour with lots of frustration just to get the three spring things back on and the hoses in place- it was awful. The design is awful, especially if you are supposed to do this frequently. Anyway, channel locks and vise grips worked the best over all. I will be checking pocks more diligently from now on! How does all that large stuff get down those small holes?

GE front load #wssh300g0ww agitates and drains (now that I emptied the filter) but still will not spin. During spin cycle, it agitates a few times then stops.

Thank you for responding. I did fix the problem. This washer does not say anything about cleaning a filter inside the rubber drain boot between the washer drum and the pump. I took it appart and found a plastic filter which was clogged with lint, change, and a sock. After cleanning this out the washer works great. Thanks for responding.

It is probably a clogged pump (don't look in owners manual for info - curiously it isn't in there - just says call tech - bolocks!)

Remove 2 screw on front bottom panel.
Remove cover.
Plastic boot and pump are on right had side. Clean out - and use the change to buy a drink - celebrating the fact you didn't have to spend hundreds on a tech!

GE front load waher Model #: WSSH300GWW fills and agitates, but does not spin and drain.

take drain hose and lay it in a bucket to drain water or a wet vac works better. remove 2 scews from lower pannel it will drop down and come off. look for a accordian shaped black hose. disconnect it and remove junk in it. check inside the pump inlet for stuff it's the thing one end of the funny hose is hooked to. put back together and don't over tighten clamps nut driver tight is fine.

All the lights on the cycle dial light up and flash, the machine beeps and the me error message in the "estimated time remaining" field is "Ld". I've tried to shut the machine down and change the cycle to "drain and spin" but it will not agitate, won't drain or spin.
