Question about Technics SL-MC6 CD Player
Ha, you are stuffed.
Actually this wire runs down the side and across the bottom of the CD player cage and back up the other side.
On the way it runs round the front cover release sensor and leaver.
You would probably need to look inside another one to get it right.
Buy a used one one off ebay and copy the path of the wire.
Then you have two working ones.
