Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
Good Luck!

Stnady button flashes no screen.

Hi,

Have you tried using this monitor on another laptop/PC? It might be your machine and not the monitor.

Also, check the pins on the cable and make sure that they are not damaged or bent.

Hope this helps.

My philips monitor is not working so how can i get technical support?

1.How is this powered? From a separate power supply or direct into the monitor. 2.Does the power light come on when switched on. Can you see any movement in shadowy form on the screen? 3. Check the data cable both ends for bent pins. If the moniot is powering up the connect it to another computer to confirm Monitor or Computer? Do all this and answer the questions clearly then come back
