Question about Onkyo TX-SR605 Receiver
I have just purchased the tx605 from usa. When I changed the plug to uk the amp stand by light came on but would not switch off. I bought a 110v transformer to 240v and the same thing is happening. Does it matter that it is a 120v connection on the amp ? Can someone please advise as this cost me a lot of money, what is the solution please help.
the unit has a voltage selector switch on the rear. Have you selected the 220v option. this will solve your need for a reduction transformer. If you have just gone ahead and fired it up in 110volt settings.... internal damage may have already occurred.
What is the switch set to now? Let me know
