Need help changing from antenna to cable without a remote

I have cable attached to the TV. But, I lost my remote so I cannot change the TV setting from "antenna" to "cable." There is no menu selection on the TV itself. Is there any way to do this?

THANKS!

The TV is stuck on cable between channels like 53 to 98, I can not change it from cable to antenna. I have tried several universal remotes, but they wont work with the settings. Also, the vcr will play a tape, I hear the sound but the picture his complete static.

SOURCE: Cable to Antenna Issues

You would need to purchase a universal remote, and once you program the universal you would be able to change from cable to antenna or vice versa.

Although there is a slim chance that in the setup screens on your TV (if you can access them by pushing a button on the tv) would have a selection where you could change the 'input' that is selected. If that is not an option, then it is definitely time for a universal remote.

Problems setting up new Panasonic LED-LCD TV

the TV may require an special antenna for the unit or the unit is set for cable operation
TV units have buttons on the side or near the side where initial settings can be obtained without the remote
remove the antenna cable and see if that indicates an aerial problem If you go to some shops they have a geek on hand that can show you how to fix on a shop demo unit and what you will need

Have cable tv and wanting to tape a certain channel

I would suggest that you disconnect the VCR from any signal source. UNPLUG the VCR from the power source [a/c] for at least one hour, more if possible. Before you are ready to plug the machine into a/c attach an antenna to the antenna INPUT, the VCR output goes to input of tv. [ DON'T attach cable box, or any such machine to the input of VCR.] Plug vcr into outlet and turn ON. Place TV-VCR switch on TV. [no remote control??] Change the channel MANUALLY, one channel at a time. If you see tv stations as you change the channel [KEEP changing until you have reached the " end of the line " of broadcast channels.] then you are good.Connecting the vcr to a cable box[ANY KIND!] you can only RECORD through the vcr what you watch on cable.

Lost the remote

Without the Panasonic remote you can not get to those features to program these sets. I have included a link to purchase a replacement remote control. They aren't expensive and much easier to use than a universal remote. Please take a moment to rate my answer. Thanks...
