Question about Lexmark X1270 All-In-One InkJet Printer
We just bought a new Lexmark 1270 Printer and Scanner and it's only about 6-8 weeks old. I'm trying to get on with my work but it won't print, and keeps flashing up mssge; "There is a lost or non-connection to the computer", unquote. I've tried looking at the leads which seem to be ok. I don't know what else to do! The bloke who fixed some of our computer problems in December and connected the Lexmark in Jan.08, doesn't seem to care anymore and just wants to charge us more! (But we can't afford this as my hubby did overtime to afford this in the first place!). I'm fed up already and feel with such a new printer we shouldn't be having these problems, it's ridiculous! Any suggestions? We also notice that there seems to be a lot of other people with similar type problems with these Lex.1270 series printers. Do you think these could be faulty, or a bad batch perhaps? Yours DebsDelight
I had to reinstall printer and download a new driver from Microsoft for Vista (by Jan 08 there were MANY revisions). It also helped to unplug printer connections, turn off computer and pug printer back in before rebooting. But you'll haveto keep doing this until you reinstall.
