The refrig doods use out side diamiter. 1/2" pluming pipe is called 5/8" in refrig. we use a reducer to go 1/2 od to 3/4" od, or we swedge one to get the smaller to fit inside the larger and soder. add flairs to the finished size pipe

Hi there Please help , not sure if the aircon needs to be re-gassed , bought a place with the aircon - a samsung silver nano . the aircon has been working fine but lately it seems that we only have...

I believe you're on the right track. The coolant gas may be low or absent all together. Having it professionally serviced will determine if that's the problem and also determine if their is a leak in the coolant system. Or it may simply be the control knob that's used to set the cooling function is not working.

I have a Daytek 12000BTU airconditioner that is displaying an error E3. What is this error and what spares can i buy to repair this problem.

E-3 means indoor fan motor malfunctioning. You can check by manually rotating motor, if hard, Check for bearings and replace it or replace fan motor. Is it helpful?

WATER LEAKING FROM MY SPLIT TYPE LG AIRCON

1. Do not set the aircon too low temperature in overcast weather, this will cause ice ups and water dripping. Optimal comfort zone temperature is 24c.
2. You need to open the grill cover on the front of the aircon which unclips either end left and right with a finger pressure. You will find two filters which can slide out and should be cleaned. First tap them together to remove dust, then you can wash them with mild soap and cold water.
3. There is the third possibility that an insect has made a nest in the drainpipe. You should look on the outside of the building and locate a plastic drainpipe. You can either blow into this pipe with your mouth or get a blower. This will unblock any restriction in the drainpipe.
Goodluck and ratemeplease.

Yes, if the filters are clean, the coils are clean, and it is still freezing up in cooling mode, then it is low on refridgerant.
