Display says system will be filled with water but nothing happens
Iám German so let me try to explain my problem in english. After i change the filtercatridge the display says that the system will be filled with water. i have to push the hotwater button. The maschine makes some noise but there gets no water in. i´ve control that at the watertank.
What could cause the problem
Re: Display says system will be filled with water but...
I solved the problem. The hot water escape was blockt by a piece of lime. So the pressure was to strong to let water in the system. You have to dick with a little needle in the small hole of the escape. That´s it.

Have you tried taking the little float out of the water reservoir and turning it around? I have an english one, and I put it back together wrong when I was cleaning and I got the same flashing light. I would try turning the little floating thing around and see if it makes a difference.
If not, a word of warning is that I also bought a brewer from american ebay, and plugged it in and nothing happened. I then got an adaptor and nothing happened because I have already overloaded the machine and melted the motor inside just by turning it on the first time. That was 100 pounds of waste right there :( It could be that you fried it already if the above tip dosnt work. English Voltage is much higher than US sadly.
Have you run a decal recently? This normally happens when a small particle (normally) an undesolved piece of the decal tablet is stuck in the flow meter, or sensor. You can try and run warm water through the system and after about half a tank it should be sorted out.
This is a common problem and there`s usually only 1 thing you can try to do yourself. Use luke warm water in the watertank and repeat the fill system procedure 4-5 times. If this doesn`t help, try to shut down the machine and try the same after 30 minutes. If nothing happens after you tried this a few times, then theres a problem with the solenoid valve for steam, and this need to be changed. That`s something you need help from a technician for.
It means that you need to fill up the system, inside the machine. Push the Water portion button, then it should flow water from the watertube. If you`re having trouble with this, change the water in the tank with luke warm water, this usually solves the problem after a few attempts.
If nothing happens and no water comes out, the solenoid valve is defective and must be changed.
Yeah, when the machine is turned on, you click the "p" button (the descale button, actually, the one in the top right corner). This will put it into programming or selection mode. First, it will ask you about tome (or "heurs" in french, if it has defaulted back to the original language). You can cycle through a series of ssettings by pressing the button multiple times. One of the settings is the language setting, and you press the btton below the "p" button (i think it is the Large Coffee button) to choose from the different languages. When it is on english, you press the "p" button again to move on.
The duration of the rinsing cycle is equal to the amount of water you have in the water tank. I don't believe they tell you this anywhere in the manual! I own a Titanium SS and it rinsed and rinsed and rinsed the first time I performed it! I figured out it will just keep going until the water tank sensor tells the machine it is out of water which is equal to saying to it: "Thanks for using all the water i wanted you to use to rinse, now you're finished." It takes a LONG time if you fill the tank. If you keep filling the tank, it will just KEEP going. Be patient, let the tank run out of water and this will trigger the end of teh cycle. Hope this helps, Tony.
Even if you fill the tank with water, the machine will display this message when it is empty inside (the pipes, heating element, etc.) You need to prime it: run some water through it by running the steamer/hot water wand. That should take care of it.
