I had a wii remote that had a similar problem when my mother in law wacked the dog in the face on bowling. when I called the 24 hour nintendo costumer service line they told me to try something very simple and easy that the sensor in the remote may have been knocked out of place or startled. they said to take the remote in one hand with the buttons facing outwards and hold the other hand in front of you horizantally and slam the wii remote in my hand with the buttons facing down. since then I haven't had a problem with it and it's been the best remote I got so far.

When you go to play those certan games try reconnecting the Wii remotes before you play, also resincronizing the Wii-motes with the Console may solve the problem, the worst case senerio is that the acceleromoter in the Wii remote has gone out on the horizontal axis if that is the case you will need to buy a new wii remote, but try to reconnect and or resincronize them first.
Good Luck

Hey, maybe your Wii is not sensing the remotes movement if there is too much light in the room. Try to sinc the remote to the console and then go to the options and check the sensitivity and adjust if necessary.
