Question about Smeg SUK92MFX5 Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
During cooking using the fan setting the cooker blew the main RCD and cooker RCD trip in the consumer unit. after resetting the trips the fan still ran but there was no heat being delivered. has the fan element blown or is there a thermal cut out or fuse that requires changing or resetting.please help
during cooking the cooker blew the main RCD and cooker RCD trip in the consumer unit. After resetting the trips the oven still delivered some heat but was unresponsive to the temperature control. The Auxilliary oven oven/Grill still works fine. Any suggestions? Could it be the thermostat?

The fan element would have blown. it is not uncommon for an element to trip an rcd when it blows. you are on the right track, if you replace the element all your problems should go away
