you need to install the dvd playback software on the Pc to read the disk. the codec of the camcorder is not installed so the Pc can't read the video format. use for exemple dvdplayer you can download it from this link it's free:

guest, how is your hook up? is the dvd plugged into aux in or video in ...okay is the tv on ch 3? use remote press CH down to see if you have video/aux ch...3..2..1..video.....(if you are plug into video/aux) if you have a vcr do not disconnect...we do not wish mess anything up...
after formating in vr moed you only can play this disc in smae dvdplay & this disc cannot play any other player in other hand if you format in video mode this disc can play every dvdplayer video mode is a standard mode
you can play dvd in media player but you have to tell media player what files it should play.you also need to make sure you have the cudecs.you can configure media player to connect to web to download codecs it may not already have for various media formats.

First of all check, what type of files u want to play in real player.
Realplayer plays .3gp files (not .avi).
If u want to play .avi files, plz. install DVDPlayer or SmartMovie software. & if u want to play MP3 files Use Ultra MP3 Player or MP3player
