Hello butmommy03,
This is the procedure but first I must warn you. You are dealing with one of the most dangerous parts of a TV The High Voltage anode or the CRT and the
flyback transformer. That being said this is what you have to do:
1) unplug the TV from the wall or power strip.
2) take the back of the TV, and find the High voltage
trippler and using a screwdriver grounded by a
clip-lead to the grounding strip touch it to the exposed metal of the input to the High Voltage
trippler.
3) using a soldering iron
de-solder and remove the wire from the HV
trippler.
4) Once this is done, angle the chassis to expose the
bottom of the Deflection board, if this is no possible you will have to remove the deflection board to get a
look at the bottom, once this is done and you can view the bottom of the board using a soldering iron and a de-soldering pump you can remove the solder from around the pins of the
flyback transformer about 10 pins in all. Then
remove the screws that hold the
flyback in place. this is the procedure you requested,
However again I must ask you not to do this yourself and to get a qualified TV technician to troubleshoot this TV for you.
Thank you,
