Just fixed one, you will need a T-15tr driver, which is a security torx screw remover. Open back cover behind controls, check for
any lose wires. Heating element wire had become disconnected on the one I repaired. P.S. you will need an extension for the bit if it is just the bit, and not a screw driver.

My space heater stopped working and i don't know where to start it might have something to do with a faulty outlet. Thank you

If you have power at the plug then the heater element or timer is burned out. Take your multimeter and in the ohms position check the male ends of the plug for continuity make sure the timer is in the on possition .

I have a very old floor funace. Peobably around 45 years old. There's know fan, just induction gas heat chambers with a grate on top. The unit stopped working when the HVAC guy changed the Thermostat...

He needs to put the old stat back on...... The old stat is a Millvolt stat and the new Digital ones won't work. And I don't know if they make a digital for Millvolt.... The old floor furnaces used a power pile like a oversize thermocouple for the power to operate the gas valve.

Pilot light keeps blowing out. When I do get it working it only works for a little while and the pilot light goes out again. It seems like there is to much presure. I have regular 5 gal propane bottle...

dmartin - Unless there is a strong draft, pilots don't normally don't blow out.

What you described, sounds more like the interior of the heater needs a thorough cleaning. Especially, the pilot assembly and the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS), which is part of the pilot. Also, the placement of the gas grill tank you're using to fuel the heater, may also being playing a role in it, too.
How far away is the tank from the heater and what size gas line is running from the tank to the heater and was it professionally installed? If you live in a high altitude are (above 2000 feet) this may also, be causing the problem.

I have included a link, which demonstrates the proper way to clean a pilot assembly and the ODS sensor. This should be a big help to you.

Bottom bulbs don't work

Sounds light the 2- 60 watt small base, chandelier bulbs need changing. To access the bulbs and change them does require some dismantling of the base of the insert.

In case you have misplaced your Owners Manual, I have included a link to it that you can download and print for future reference. Pay particular attention to Page # 5 - Maintenance - Changing Light Bulbs.

I HAVE MODEL GP30 WALL HEATER. I CAN LITE PILOT BUT WHEN I TURN CONTROL KNOB UP PILOT GOES OUT AND DOES NOT LITE HEATER

The thermocoupler is bad.Replace it,or if you can adjust it to where the thermocoupler is in the pilot flame. You know you have to hold the knob down for about 30 seconds or a minute, don`t you?If the flame will not touch the thermocoupler,it will not stay lit.You can cut a piece of copper tubing,or steel tubing to slidde over the old thermocoupler to make contact with the pilot flame, and it will work,if the thermocoupler is not in to bad of shape.

The 900w on/off switch does not work. any

You can go to the radio shack and purchase a universal switch to replace it.As long as the replacement switch will hold 900 watts or more(125volts)it will work.Take the switch with you.Replacement parts are almost impossible to find.Hopefully, this will help you.As the heaters go out, switch or thermostat,or element,I but a new one,I have been for a long time.I end up with extra parts to fix one or two,so I end up using the heaters longer than expected.Don`t buy the digital L E D versions, they won`t work right, and go out quickley. If I can help, let me know.I hope this is helpful.
