Question about LG RU-42PX11 42 in. EDTV-Ready Plasma Television
I was watching my 42 in plasma tv went there was this snap-pop sound and the tv went dead. I tried to turn it back on but there is no power at all . I tried a different outlet to plug it in to but it still has no power. It is only 1 year old ( almost to the day),
I realized that I bought a piece of junk. It will probably cost me as much to fix it as it did to buy it. Therefore I wont be buying another piece of junk plasma tv. I will buy a product that is warranteed for a reasonable time. My TV was a Hitachi but from what I read from other plasma tv owners, they are all the same. What kind of company sells products that last for a fraction of time in relation to the cost? How can we continue to purchase inferior products for outrageous money? Remember the old TVs, they lasted for years for a fraction of the price!!
