How to turn off alternating display.

My display switches from dark background to light background every few seconds and drives me crazy. How do I turn off the alternating of the display? Thanks.

Turn off the unit and push the entertainment button or the display button it will beep once flashing stops lol i had the same problome im not sure what button it is thought doesent hurt to try them all its the second one on the bottom of the unit under the display but the unit has to be off

you need to press either the #5 or #6 preset button while the deck is in standby mode. putting the deck in standby mode should tell you which button to press.

The change in the backgroung color of the OEL display is totally normal. This funtion lets the display works in two modes rather than only one to prevent OEL display damage, it is like a screen saver. I had the same model I bought

Inverting color display


To cancel demo mode: While unit is OFF and ignition is ACC or ON, press "display" to cancel.

To cancel reverse demo: While unit is OFF and ignition is ACC or ON, press "band" to cancel.

You can also use the MULTI-CONTROL to turn demo mode OFF.

go into your tools menu by pressing the center of the multi knob.(the volume control knob) turn same knob to bring up the entertainment field, press center of knob to set then turn till you get to the prompt about alternating screen. switch to no. done.

Blinking display


I think i kinda know what problem you guys havin, here what you need to do first:
1) Turn the Unit off
2) Press and hold the Joystick (multi-function) button for about 3 seconds or until you hear the beep
3) Turn the Joystick around clockwise until you see "Demonstration" ON
4) Push the Joystick for "Demonstration" OFF
5) Press Band when you finish

try checking on the settings maybe you accidenally change the lighting schemes in your unit.
