Question about Euro-Pro 534DX Mechanical Sewing Machine
Help, want to do 3 thread ultra stretch mock safety stitch, however the manual says to use converter for upper looper thread, it also says to see instructions for converting upper looper to 3 thread serging, HOWEVER there is no instructions in my manual on how to do this, have read and reread the manual a cazillion times, please help!!
I believe they mean the "2 Thread Adapter" - tiny little piece you attach to the "upper looper" when using less than 4 threads (I could be wrong - but this is the only thing that could possibly make sense) You can find a picture of the "2 Thread Adapter" on pg. 6 - Accessories - its almost invisible in my manual, but its #8 in the accessories chart.

3 thread overlocking (serging) is no different t 4 thread, except you remove one or other of the needle threads.
The stitch width is then controlled by two variables,
the manual width dial selector, and
your choice of either the right or left needle
Suggest yo play with width selector on a scrap of your project fabric to achieve the look you are after.
