Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player
My sansa 8gig player is not responding to any buttons being pushed. It is not on the hold button but the button seems loose compared to my husbands player's hold button?? I was plugging it intto mini speakers (made for mp3players which I've used before with it), this time I also tried to save the charge by plugging the charger into the wall so the battery didn't run low. That's when it seemed to freeze up. Any suggestions? It is a refurbed player so anything's possible I suppose,
The hold button or "overloading" it with the charger and speakers are my only two ideas of what might have went awry.I just want it fixed!
I had the same freeze problem and after doing everything I could think of I read the downloaded user manual and found the answer was to hold down the menu button for 15 seconds. It acts as a power off button and cancels out the last operation thereby unfreezing the offending action.

Remove the four screws in the back of the e250 mp3 player and remove the battery wait about 5 sec. then plug the battery back in. (its very easy simular to a standard cell phone battery) worked for me!

Let battery run out, plug it in and works fine the next day. Maybe it reset it'self but it worked for me.
