Timer light continuous blink -- Did "hard reset" (24 hrs unplugged) problem continues. I have the same problem with a samsung PCL545r , the timer clicks on but the TV doesn't turn on at all. How can i reset it ? Thanks

Here are few trouble shooting steps you can try:
ONE: Disconnect the power cord for 4 hours. Then when you power it back
up the internal soft codes will automatically reset to factory defaults.
TWO: The whacking test is to just bang or smack the set with your hand
on the back, side, top, etc., to see if there are loose connections or
cold solder joints inside that are acting up. If so, the banging should
knock them back to normal and the set should restore. You might have
to use some creative banging and some have had to put a book or
magazine under one corner to torque the chassis enough to get it to
work reliably.
There are several circuits in this model that could do this. the most
common are the power supply and the convergence. a cost of a repair
will range around 400.00. this is a good model and worth a repair.

Wow...that seems like a firmware or control board issue. Did you have a power glitch recently? May need a service call, is it under warranty?
