I had this problem too, after about 3 minutes the charging light would go out, I found the problem appeared to be either my charger or the wall socket, for some reason now it is charging, try plugging it in to different sockets, and watch the light, after 10 minutes you can be sure it won't go out. After charging DO NOT use your camera for about an hour, I found that if you use it right after charging its a real pain to charge again, and it acts as though its battery is still dead.

My camera battery is showing zero, when I plug it in to charge the light is not always coming on and when it does and I then remove the plug the camer still has zero battery

Could be the battery gone, they do not last forever or it could be charger fault, but unless you have a test meter to check output on charger, only way would be to get another battery, which usually are supplied partly charged.

Kodak easyshare m320 froze and won't turn on

Send it back to Kodak, these models are nothing but trouble, far to many customer complaints, Made in China and not made very well, not dependable, Try a better brand. Kodak has seen better days with their products. Buyer Beware

Kodak easyshare m320 charge light is green, but not charged

Hello Dead Battery, Well this sounds pretty easy compared to most questions I get. If the camera says the battery is dead, then the battery is dead !! the problem with batteries is they loose their capacity over time. The charger can not put any more in it and says it is charged. Just get a new one and give it a full charge and this should do the trick.

My kodak easyshare M320 isn't charging

I believe your camera has a specific battery and battery charger? You may need to purchase a new one. Even rechargeable batteries need to be replaced after awhile. Try purchasing a new kit (battery and battery charger) and see if that works!

Something like this:

Hope this helps!

Check the contacts for the battery. They may be rusted / making poor contact. Did you leave a leaky battery in there for some time?

If you can get an Emory board or small file in there it might help to clean up the contacts. If clean, try bending the clips up to make a stronger contact with the battery.

Rechargeable batteries have a finite life. Yours may have come to the end and need to be replaced. Replacing them is probably the only way to test this.

Lithium batteries in particular can have their lives shortened by being run completely flat, so that is something to avoid.
