I'm trying to conect a monitor to my tv by DVI cable

Is it a PIP model? If it is, some capacitor fluid might have leaked onto the PIP board. It looks oily. Replace them. Replace them EXACTLY, because someone learned (The hard way) that if you don't, they will explode.

I can't disconnect the parent v chip now it is automatically blocking stations
