Re: ws-a65 HD TV remote issue
Ch3 is not programmed as an active channel, try and add it manually or turn on the PS2 and do an autoprogram. Why is the PS2 on an RF input, are you using a modulator? Turn it on and autoprogram again, itll pick it up.

Hi - My name is Tina and I am with Suddenlink. I am very sorry for the issues you are having with the remotes for your new DigitaLink boxes. If you would email me at tina-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com, I would be happy to help resolve this issue. Thanks!
Ok so, I was having the same exact problem but I got mine to work.
Make sure you have your HDMI cable is connected from the TV and cable box....
1)Turn off your tv and reboot your cable box (my cable box was rebooted by pushing the following buttons AT THE SAME TIME: "info," "vol ," and "vol-").
2)Once your cable box reboots completely, power it and the TV on...
3)Push your INPUT button on the actual TV REMOTE. Give it a couple of seconds and then use your CABLE BOX REMOTE to begin switching the channels. Your HD channels will be in the 600's if you have the same cable company as I do.
Hope this helps...it worked for me
NOTE: Your COAXIAL should only be plugged in from the cable outlet on the wall to the cable box. Your HDMI cable will be the one to plug FROM the CABLE BOX to the TV
Your TV has an SD/ED component input and an HD component input. You are using the HD input. It can only accept HD signals. You need to correct the settings in you cable box. You need to "fix" the video output so that it converts everything to HD. If you have a motorola box, you can usually turn the box off and press the menu button to access the cable box setup menu. Set the 4:3 override to Stretch or Full. If you need more help with this, post back with more information: cable provider, cable box used. I hope this was of some assistance.
yes , you need to be in GAME mode on the TV , since you don't have the remote you can still access GAME mode from the menu button on the front of the TV . you must be in GAME mode for your PS2 to work. thanks
IYou have to have your comcast
box tuned to a channel that is broadcast in HD. On your Comcast remote
hit menu. This will bring up several icons, one is HD. Select that icon
and it will bring up the TV
Guide for just HD channels. Select one and tune to that channel. Once
your on that channel use your original remote and hit menu, then
advance features, then go down to video display and change it from 480
to 980 or 1080. Let me know if this helps.

Well there is still a problem with the TV. I found that by unplugging the power cable that the digital channels worked. But, when I turned the TV on today the problem had returned, I had to take out the power cable again!
Beware: Although the process should be safe, it technically voids your warranty.
Enter the service menu:
1 - turn of tv with remote
2 - press and release in the following order on the remote: Info, Menu, Mute. Make sure remote is pointing at the tv
3 - turn on the tv from the remote
4 - you will see the service menu. using the down arrow on the remote
select the Reset option. Using the right arrow button at this point
will do a hard reset.
5 - Wait a few seconds, turn TV on
6 - you will have to rescan analogue and digital channel but it should be working now.
