Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Damaged Camcorder The camera on my Hitachi DZ-MV780A DVD Camcorder quit working. All the other functions work, but I can't get a picture through the viewfinder, or on the LCD panel. Need to know if this is major problem or simple fix so I don't spend more repairing the problem than just buying a new camera. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Can I download videos from my DZ-BX37E dvd camcorder to a Mac??

You should indeed be able to do that, you need to maybe buy a Video Movie making package for the Mac from your local computer shop, I know that Videowave works quite well.

I am using an sd card when i hit the record button it says cannot record video on the model number DZ-GX5020

Sorry, but as far as I know, Hitachi camcorders cannot record video directly onto an SD card. You have to set the camcorder to DVD. It can only record video and pictures on a DVD, and only pictures on an SD card.

some newer model camcorders require u to finalize your disk before it will work on your pc. and you do need the required software for that model. i worked on a couple peeps camcorders and that was just the one step they missed. finalizing.

You can get them at Best buy. You must buy the same disc as it is spelled out on the side of the camera. Buy, DVD-RAM/R. There are DVD+ and DVD-, you must be sure to buy just like it's printed on the camera (just under the viewfinder).
