The simplest thing to do is to use StartPatch, if your Wii is running System Menu 4 or higher, or StarFall if you're running System Menu 3.2. (To check your system menu version, go to you Wii Settings; the version number will be on the upper right.)
These applications can apply various modifications to your Wii, including one that will allow you to play import games and another that turns off the annoyingly repetitive system menu background music. There is also a modification that prevents the Wii from checking to see whether a game disk includes a system update. If you use StartPatch/StarFall to install this modification, you will no longer have game disks insisting on updating before you can play them.
It should be noted that these applications, since they rewrite your system flash memory, can be considered somewhat dangerous.
You can play it safer with Gecko OS, which lets you play import and update-insistent games without altering flash memory. It has been found that at least one game, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, Gecko fails on.
Google search the board game and rules. With a little research you should be up and playing in no time. Maybe you could put the board game up in the FixYa questions and someone will have a solution for you.
Please try to see if your games are supported by your X-Box machine in order to have it function properly. Also try to update its components particularly the software supports application of your X-Box in order to play games.
Try to install the game to the HDD. You must have the NXE Dashboard.
To do this simply insert the game onto the drive and go to the menu where it shows the game disc.
Press Y on the image of the game and select "Install to Hard Drive".
After the game finishes install select "Play From Hard Drive"
If the game fails to install try cleaning the disc with warm water NOT hot or cold water but WARM. After that dry the disc with a soft towel or some sort of SOFT cloth by wiping away from the center of the disc.
have you ever tryed playing the game or doing a cheat code.If you tryed to cheat it messes up the whole game.
If you're trying to get the game to be a diffrent color do this.OKAY first touch the screen. Then go to the bottom of the screen and click the little DS at the bottom.then go to the little person. After that go to the top and tuch the square with the little boxes click that and you are done.
The same thing happened to me. Played LBP for about 20 mins, the game froze and now it will not load any discs properly. It will show the game but then shows an error. I tried spraying air into it which loaded LBP for another 20 mins but then did the same thing. Of course my warranty ran out about two weeks ago. This is ********. I am not paying $150 for something SONY should pay for. I take great care of all of my equipment and own all of the new game systems and a ton of pro audio gear. None of my other equipment has ever done this only 8 months after owning it. Hell my PS2 lasted all the way up till a month ago and I just need to fix something minor on it. Is this just a coincidence that is happening after loading LBP?
