My husband erased 3 very important messages on my answering machine that I believe is digital (does not have a tape) can those messages be retreived.  Is there a chip in the machine that can be sent out to have the messages retreived and or put on a tape for safe keeping.

I accidentally deleted an answer I wanted to hear on an AT&T 1719 answering machine. I read the manual and noticed that messages cannot be recovered. Who makes an answering machine with an "undelete"...

Once you delete a message on a consumer answering machine, it's gone. The only option is to save all messages until the machine signals that it's out of room. Even with a tape-based answering machine or professional voicemail systems, once you erase a message, it's gone.

I have a Sony SPP A1070 answering machine.

They cannot be recovered. Sorry. It is a digital recording unit and being such, when a recording is deleted, it is gone. I hope this helps. If you need the operation manual of your unit, just click this link.

I have the same machine. There is no way to retreive it. You may be able to pay someone a lot of money to some how extract it off the chip but it would have to be a really important message and even then I do not know for sure if it is possible.
