There is a key on the TV remote control for adjusting the size of the picture. On pressing this key you will get the options of the picture size like 4:3, 16:9, Zoom, Wide etc. You can choose the size you like.
I have a Olevia 532-b12 and it may be similar.
Hit the small round menu button on the remote.
A pinwheel shape should appear on the upper left part of the screen.
Use the up/down and left/right direction keys to find picture,
and you should be able to adjust brightness, contract, etc.
I have a 532-b12 so it may be the same - but not sure.
Push the small round "menu" button on the remote.
A pinwheel should show up in the upper left corner.
Use the up/down and left/right arrows to go to picture.
From there, you can change, saturation, color, contrast, etc.
I have an olevia 532 b12 model. I do have cable at my house, straight to tv , no cable box.. but my tv only says a message ''no channels in list'' on the Turner source option. I Just bought this TV with no manual, What do I do in order to see the channels , to me it seems like the remote is locked. I cant change the time date , nothing ? The DVD playes plays and sounds great,,, Its just the cable TV part
I attached a video recorder., and selected the video channel.
I was able then to see the channels through another AV slot extension.
Then I reset the TV to factory settings.
Samsung full HD reset code is 0000.
I used the original remote control.
I pressed the button TV/DTV to switch between mode., and from the menu I started
the option to scan the channels automatically.
Because the VCR was still connected it looks like it was forced to admit the channels.
I turned off the VCR and click on the TV the remote control for a known channel ( alternative control used) and surprise ... The TV started to react according to expected.
I disconnected then physically the cabling from the VCR and plugged in directly on back on the
wall connector. All is ok.
What was the reason ?
My wife dropped the alternative remote control ( not the original one) on the floor, and apparently an strange code was sent to the TV., which suddenly displayed " No signal".
I hope this can work for you.
I just got FIOS and had an Olevia 237 TV. Tried the LG, Phillips, RCA and Yamaha codes, no luck so I tried this:
- press and hold TV key - still holding TV key, press the OK key and release both, device keys blink - press 922 - point remote at TV and press play button - press next button (two arrows pointing to right) about 325 times until the TV goes off.
