Ok it all started out when my xbox wouldnt read any games or dvds or anything just out of the blue would say reading when I first put them in then would say open tray or whatever. Well while I was trying to fix that all of a sudden the sync just went out on its own from my controller to the tv. I then tried to sync it back but it wouldn't work I will now explain what it done when I did. Ok I turned on Xbox 360 and the controller I then pressed sync button on the xbox then I pressed on the sync button on the controller. It then acted like it was going to sync up but then the xbox 360 console sync light went completely off nothing there and the controller went back to the 4 flashing lights like it was doing when I first turned the controller on. Now this is the even weirder part after that happened I turned it all off the xbox360 controller was able to turn on the console but couldn't do any more than that. I tried unplugging everything turning the tv off and on everything I seen on here repeating the syncing process each time with the same results. So basically I have tried absoultely everything you all have said and nothing works at all. It just sits there and does the same thing over and over after I turn it on wont let me do anything more the controller or the console wont do anything no reading discs and no being able to control the console itself with the controller. Somebody please help me! :(

I just got done fixing the RROD issue. And I heard a popping noise when I was testing it out on top of the housing. I think that I might have blown a circuit or relay or something like that. I have limited schematic and soldering knowledge as it mostly pertains to armored tanks and hummers, lol. So if an engineer or someone with extensive knkowledge with this system could help my sons and I would be greatful. Thank You. SSG T
