Replacement cables for lorex cameras

I need to replace the 4 pin connector and cable that plugs into the back of the camera. Lorex is no help apparently they don't have parts. I have one cable that works, the others were destroyed. I have plugged the one that is okay into the cameras that the cables were destroyed and all the cameras work. Attached pictures of what I need. HELP, please.

SOURCE: Canon zoombrowser Ex downloading problem

Try updating the Zoombrowser software.

If you have a connection to the camera, go into my computer and get images directly off the camera using scanner and camera wizard, microsoft's default program. This will at least allow you to transfer your images until you can resolve the software problem.

If you have no connection to the camera via your computer, you need to try some other troubleshooting steps to get a connection. I will post those below in the next post.

SOURCE: need pin out info for aqua vu 4 pin connector

I figured it out:

Here goes: There are 4 wires inside the Aqua Vu cable that runs to the underwater part of the cam.

Red = Hot or 12 volt power from battery postive (red) terminal

Black = Ground - ground to battery negative terminal

White= Video input (or center of video coax)

Green= Infrared lighting control, if you ground the green wire against the black/ground, you will see

that it switches ON the infrared or "Christmas" lights. Simply put a switch on the green wire after you ground it, so you can switch your IR's on and off.

SOURCE: Canon zoombrowser Ex downloading problem

The sd1000 manual says that you will get this error when you have too many pictures on your memory card (aprox 1000). I am not sure how many I had on my 2GB card but it was a lot. I deleted about 50 - 100 pictures and then it started working again and the new pictures downloaded to the computer.

SOURCE: I cannot download my pictures

1. Turn PC on.
2. Plug camera cable into Camera.
3. Plug camera cable USB end into computer USB port.
4. Turn on Camera... wait until camera show message 'USB, PC, Pictbridge'.
5. PC should be selected if not select by highlighting and press shutter button.
6. Press 'Shutter' button.
7. Window 'Autoplay' appears on PC. Select 'import' in Autoplay window.
8. Another window will ask you to name your picture folder. Give it a name.
9. The pictures download to the picture folder automatically.
10. Turn the camera off and disconnect cable from camera and from the PC
11. ENJOY!!

Might be too late... but it beeps if its not hooked up to internet. So to stop it from beeping either connect it to ethernet cable in back, or you can turn off beeping in menus- its i believe settings, event, network- then unclick the box thats there

Lorex SG 6157 need to know what the four wires go to blue black re yellow

Red & Black are PRETTY MUCH always the Transformer Pwr (12v delivered: (9V DC working...Red is positive)).

So the video should be your yellow & blue/
(I thought green (but what do I know)).

ImageSensor:1/3"ColorCMOS, VideoFormat:PAL, EffectivePixels:628Hx582V Resolution:330TVLines-SyncSystem:Internal, AES:1/50~1/1500Sec Min.Illumination:2Lux, Lens:6mmF1.8, ViewingAngle:Diagonal53? OperatingVoltage:9VDC, OperatingTemperature:-10~45degreeC Dimension(WxDxH):53x80x49mm, EnvironmentalRating:IP44

I have every confidence your cables are going someplace EVEN MORE COMPLEX you have not even mentioned. You really need to share that BEFORE DEFINATIVE answers can be given abort ONE end of your cable.

The primary question
Are you using Philips/BNC (cannon-PWR)/ connectors or the RJ45 type... using individual power transformers or Power Distribution panel... Direct to a video screen (TV monitor).. or a NVR real-time matrix... or DVR recording system

Comment back if you are serious with configuration information... If I don't know your answer straight away I can get you pointed in the right direction.

I hope you have the rest of the system since the monitor powers the camera. If you have the end of the cable with the connector on it then just splice the wires color for color. If not then you're out of luck.

I purchased a system from Lorex model # LHV08C02

Lorex used standard BNC and provides Siamese cables for all their DVR systems; like this one.. If you want to use your own, use 75 Ohm RG-59 or RG-58 with compatible connectors. If using premade cables, use BNC female to female. Power is separate and is provided by the 'wall wart' style power adapter.

I need to wire it to a tv but have only camera no adapter or wiring

Okay - from a google search placing the information
Lorex SG6153 into the text box came up with the web site below.

http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=Lorex+SG6153&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=3330978625885084760&ei=zLwIS5CQDZCINKyPlLoK&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=result&resnum=4&ved=0CBkQ8wIwAw&os=tech-specs

Here it gave me the specs that you have:
RCA jack output for your Video output connection
RCA Jack for both Left and Right Audio outputs.

So you will need to have Auxillary video and audio inputs on your TV. Most Tv''s have RCA Video and Audio inputs - many so you can connect your VHS player into the TV.

So - If you go to a local Target, Wallmart or even better yet Radio Shack or Best Buy. You will be able to obtain/purchase RCA male connector to RCA male connector cables. Many of these places have them in all kinds of lenths 'most common is 6feet'.
Many of them have all three connector's/cables together.
Yellow end is for the video
Red end is for the Right Audio
White end is for the Left audio.
Hope this all makes sense?
Blessings,
A/V Media Guy
