Question about Canon PowerShot G3 Digital Camera
Canon powershot G3 is sending message "card full" when my 512mb SanDisk is absolutely empty. If I try to view a picture on the so-called 'card full' camera it says "no images". I've been using it for 3 years with no problems. I switched to another card and it worked fine. So should I just throw out the one that keeps being identified as 'card full'? Do they wear out?
Yes they can and do go bad on occasion. But before throwing it out, attempt to format it in your camera. Find the menu selection that allows you to do a "full" or "low level" format, NOT a "quick" format. If the card still misbehaves, then it's time to retire that card.
