I have a NP 6025 that is jamming from the letter tray top not multi purpose tray. I cleaned the rollers that did not help. its making a grinding noise (best way to describe it) The paper gets jammed at various stages in the input unit I can open the right door and see the paper. Wondering if anybody has any ideas on how to fix this problem....

A few questions? How old is the drum unit? Are the outter sides of the drum worn down through the drum coatting? If so, you have to replace the drum and blade. Is this the first time cleaning out the waste toner? But if the drum looks ok, did you clean the optic's" All, six mirrors and the dust proof glass. Do the lines happen before the fixing ass'y? Did you vacum out he drum cavety? Here is one place to look... Take out the "Blanking Lamps" and clean them. That one had me chasing my tail for a while.. Good Luck...

When trying to make copies from the Cannon Imagerunner 3230 machine, we keep getting a black line on top of the copies. I tried cleaning the inside but it still appears. What could that be?

Drum Unit, Make sure the scan glass and platen glass is clean. Run copies from glass and document feeder to see if line appears on one or both. Both Drum unit or fusing Film. Will need a copier tech to remove parts for inspection.

The streaks are full page on both edges top to bottom and occur with printing and copying.

I suspect the drum unit might done its time.On this model you might find you can do 50000 to 90000 copies on your drum before it is done.First replace the drum.If problem sill presist the fixing unit can be the cause of the lines.

Try to clean the drum & shake toner & it's nothing to do with transfer roller for sure , it's your drum unit only . Another thing ,was your drum unit exposed to light for more time than normal , in that case try another drum ,try this i think that will solve your problem

Copies fine on bottom, but fade to nothing at top

Could be one of many things. Possible new transfer roller - make sure the transfer roller is not jammed.

Check the developer roller (at exit from toner hopper), to see if it is rotating properly. Check all connections to/from drum and transfer rollers.

This is most likely a dev unit problem. Not sure if dev/hopper and transfer are all in one unit - if so, replace the lot, or you'll be chasing one problem after the other.

1/4" weak, blurred line from top to bottom of page on every copy...has new drum, cleaned optics and glass, including **** glass...

hi, if the class is clean and the drum is not bad, this means is the fuser unit role cause this problem, but sometimes the cleaning blade too do this when it becomes bad and it doesnot clean the drum well. to help you trouble shoot this problem do this:
open the document feeder donot put any paper on class, and hit start, let the ,machine copy when the feeder is up and no paper, the copy will come black paper, check it if u still see the line there this means the fuser, if not its cleaning blade or drum.

let me know wat happen and if u have pics will help too.

Best Regards

Lines on the copies

It might be the drum unit, normally there are foreign objects int that unit. Need to take it apart and empty the waste toner.
