Question about Samsung LE46M51B 46 in. LCD Television
The screen has gone blank and i can not get a picture at all now. I have had this TV for about 18months.. It just went... Sound is ok, just no picture
Tcon board fault. (screen driver) in the middle at the back of screen. can be the fuse on the board its marked as P. if the fuse is fine then the board has gone it can be the row of brown thick resisters at the top part of the board if they are greasy they have over heated. look for heat marks from the main chip in the board these would need to be replaced. if you need a new or used board to replace there are a few out there but they have been updated. you need to match the part number try to get the same V number but there are so meany V0.0 up V2.5 they will all work the same but they have a few changes in screen control you may not be used to. so try to get the same number.
