Well..each keyboard has a different mechanical strategy for how it's attached. Look under the bottom of the key that came off, and you'll see either a two hinged metal flange or a snap on insert approach. The two hinged deal takes a small blade screwdriver, and a pair of needle nose pliers, and a ton of patience to get it right, and ensure that the metal ears don't get destroyed.

the snap on insert version is simpler,

Tell me which you have and then we can proceed.

Patrick Michaels Feb 16, 2008'll need to turn off the computer to do this. power down, and then gently, press the key firmly and straight down, and aligned like the others. The key will 'feel the head' of the keypad, and settle in. IF you get any resistance at all, back the pressure off, and try it again. Patience is most important here.

Check that nothing has broken under the key or on the space where it's supposed to sit (on the unit). Usually keys should just simply snap on.

Of course you would need to find the right way to snap it back on if you see nothing is broken.

How do you put a microsdhc card in a noble tablet

You can add a properly formatted microSD card inside the rear of the device:
  • Power off your Nook, unplug from power, and disconnect it from any USB connection.
  • Place it face down on a kitchen towel (so it won't get scratched).
  • Find the tab near the center of the bottom of the back cover.
  • Lift the tab (gently)and open the back. Note that the cover is snapped-in at the bottom, the middle and the top. Unsnap the cover carefully.
  • Identify and open the microSD slot cover with a fingernail, not a screwdriver!
  • Drop the microSD card into place, while lining up the contacts.
  • Close and then lock the card holder.
  • Replace the back cover onto the Nook
  • Snap the sides into place, and close the tab.
  • Power up and enjoy
NOTE: the card needs to be formatted using FAT32 or FAT16 not NTFS!

Usually if use a sharp object like a small knife and slide the blade between the crevice on the side and gently pry the back apart. These devices usually snap together.

When an iPad got hit on back side of unit. Now it can not get any wifi signal

The WiFi connector is snapped on. If it came unplugged, there's no way to get it back on without opening the iPad. Though, I doubt that a hit on the back would cause it to become unplugged. Have you tried restarting the iPad? If not, then try that as it can solve a number of software issues.

Tablet onscreen keyboard keeps reversing capslock.

Hi Melissa

When does this happen? Hitting Return/Enter/or the

key will generally throw this up. It is also noticeable on spreadsheets which jump to the next specified cell and automatically create a leading upper case character in the cell just used. These are operating system or program settings.

Try noting when this happens and then re-create it to be sure. Log the sequence to see if there are any keys which are involved (also the length of time or even just tapping a key or spot on the tablet surface can have a totally different meaning)

Hope this helps....

My tablet keeps coming with with " Android Keyboard is unfortuntally not working". Gives the OK prompt. Also I am having problems accessing some of my games. Cane you help me please?

My brother & myself were never able to resolve the issues with the M752B tablet. So, I mailed it back to the company I was told to, in hopes that they will be able to fix the problems. The telephone # they gave me for help is 1-866-777-0079 or 1-607-257-7279. Be prepared for a long wait time. They also gave me an address to mail the unit back if I failed in the fix. That address is
Global Phoenis Computer, T&S
21 Dutch Mill Rd.
Ithaca, NY 14850
Good luck, Brian

Nexus 7 will not completely turn on

The battery connector in the Nexus 7 (2012 model) is notoriously problematic. Sometimes dropping the device can cause issues that prevent the Nexus 7 from charging altogether. A hard reset may not work. Fortunately, it is quite easy to fix.

However this will void your warranty.

Pop the back of the Nexus 7 case open by pushing a credit card or guitar pick or small screwdriver under the edge of the black plastic case. Start from the top and gently pry the case open, working your way around. The back of the case will come off quite easily. The battery occupies the bulk of the left-hand side of the unit, and a group of six wires come out of the top of the battery to a connector on the circuit board. Gently push the plug out of the socket connector, wait 15 seconds, and push it back in. Snap the case back on and plug in your charger. You should now see the battery charge image appear.17d253bb-4ba9-4ee2-99ca-91507603cc78.png

I have a amazon kindle, and I stepped on it, the screen is not snapped but it looks like it, it is something on the inside, I heard a snap but the screen is NOT snapped, do you think it can be fixed?

Because of the type of screen (e-ink) I recommend you to contact Kindle support to get it repaired, this type of screen has an electronic layer, so 'm pretty sure the screen got damaged.
